Representatives from the Methodist Church in Britain visit Print

From April 30 until May 4, 2009, representatives from the Methodist Church in Great Britain visited the United Methodist Church in the Republic of Macedonia. They were vice president Richard Vautrey with his wife Ann Vautrey, accompanied by Colin Ride, Area Secretary for Europe. 

 

  They visited the administrative offices of the United Methodist Church in the RM, located in Strumica, where supervising pastor Mihail Cekov, together with his wife Christina Cekov acquainted the guests from Great Britain with the work of the Church in the Republic of Macedonia, as well as the activities of the social outreach work of the Church, especially the Meals on Wheels project. At this visit were also present Superintendent Wilfried Nausner and his wife Jean Nausner. The guests had the opportunity to visit the congregations in the Strumica regions, Kochani and Skopje.
